The Holiday Harvest Farmers Markets bring the community and our local producers together for a festival of local food and late-season harvests. This year we have more opportunities to shop for your holiday feasts and to stock up for the winter with three, indoor markets. Plus, we've partnered with Lone Tree Foods to offer online purchasing, still direct from local farmers, but with the ease of shopping from home.

With dozens of local farmers and producers participating, you can expect an abundance of locally grown produce and farm products such as salad greens, Swiss chard and kale; Brussels sprouts, cabbage, turnips, beets and radishes; potatoes, onions, shallots; carrots, fresh herbs, sweet potatoes, parsnips and rutabagas. Expect a few surprises, too. Goat cheese truffles, fresh ginger, and wild fruit jams and jellies to name just a few. Producers will also have meats, cheeses, breads, and more.

The HHFM accepts SNAP! At each indoor market, families and individuals with SNAP/EBT benefits may use those to purchase fresh, local food from all of our participating vendors. NEW this year, we're also doubling your food stamp dollars! Customers with SNAP can receive up to $10 in FREE SNAP tokens at each of the three markets with a dollar-for-dollar match. Just bring your SNAP/EBT card to the Market Information booth to purchase tokens which can be used to buy any SNAP-eligible products at Market, including produce, meats, cheese, eggs, bread, honey, and more.

The Holiday Harvest Farmers Market is hosted by the Old Cheney Road Farmers' Market in partnership with Lone Tree Foods. Funding is provided in part by the Nebraska Department of Agriculture's Specialty Crop Block Grant.
